Life with chronic illness can feel lonely, exhausting,

and invisible.

If you’re a woman managing daily pain, fatigue, and the frustration of being misunderstood, you don’t need another quick fix or someone telling you to “just push through.”

You are on a journey of learning new ways to live fully, even in the midst of illness or pain.

You need practical tools and compassionate support from others who understand what it’s like when your body refuses to follow the rules.

When Chronic Illness Touches Every Part of Life

It’s not just symptoms — fatigue, pain, and uncertainty ripple into your work, family, relationships, and identity. Basic tasks can feel impossible. Many women try to fulfill their roles while their bodies rebel. Doctors may dismiss your concerns, treatment paths can feel confusing, and advocating for yourself often feels like too much.

Beyond the physical strain lies grief over lost abilities, the pain of feeling unseen, and emotional weight like anxiety or depression. But you don’t have to stay stuck.

My commitment is to help other women feel seen, acknowledged, validated, and prepared for the challenges that accompany living life to the full with chronic illness and chronic pain by providing FREE RESOURCES.

Hi, I am Dr Damita SunWolf LaRue

Living with chronic illness and chronic pain myself for over 50 years, I know the frustration of waking up tired, pushing through pain, and wondering if anyone truly sees what you carry. These experiences have become more than obstacles; they have shaped the way I show up in all areas of my life. I have re-invented myself based on the needs of my body many times over the years.

Supporting women who are struggling with chronic illness and pain is my passion. Although, I cannot do things the way I have in the past, I strive to support others through social media and FREE resources when I'm able.

In the past, I had the priviledge of serving as a Cherokee psychologist, health consultant, speaker, and coach.

As a Cherokee psychologist, I spent decades walking beside people navigating grief, trauma, and chronic/terminal medical conditions through the lens of their culture and beliefs.

As a health consultant, I blended clinical knowledge with practical strategies for living more fully even in the midst of fatigue, pain, and complexity.

As a speaker and coach, I created spaces of encouragement, teaching, and connection where women could feel less alone and more empowered.

And as a Cherokee woman, I consistently honor the wisdom, resilience, and rootedness of Indigenous Traditions that bring in cultural depth and authenticity in all that I do.
